Sunitta Menghanaani
Sunitta Menghanaani, a profound Bharatanatyam artiste and teacher, hails from Pune, but has made her karmabhumi - Chennai. She began her journey into dance at the tender age of 3 under Smt Geeta Nair. The urge to follow her passion, brought her down South and she graduated in Bharatanatyam from Kalakshetra Foundation, Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts, Chennai. She holds Bachelor in Commerce from Pune University and has completed her Masters in Fine Arts from Kalai Kaveri College of Fine Arts, Trichy. She hold Best Performer Award from renowned Sri Parthasarthy Swamy Sabha. Recently she was awarded the Exemplar Award from the Dorai Foundation, Chennai. Sunitta started dissemination of her artistic knowledge with the firm belief that everyone can learn dance, and the only talent required is a talent to work hard.

S. Kirusanthini
Director, Canada Branch
S. Kirusanthini is a dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, and teacher with strong artistic roots in Sri Lanka. She began learning the Valuvoor style at the age of six under Smt. Sangeetha Karthikeyan and later trained for over seven years in the Kalakshetra style under Miss Sunitta Menghanaani.

She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Applications and has completed First-Class Grade Levels in Bharatanatyam from Annamalai University, Chidambaram.

Her teaching journey includes roles at the prestigious AIMA in Chennai and with SEED, an NGO in Sri Lanka focused on community development. Now based in Canada, she leads the SKN Canada branch, offering Bharatanatyam training while also working as a bookkeeper at a legal accounting firm.

Kirusanthini was honoured with the Best Dancer Award by UNIPUN Sri Lanka and continues to inspire students through her commitment to preserving and sharing the beauty of Indian classical dance.
